All of those list include the popular QB's at the season's beginning, and it's usually 1 or 2 QB's, 1 or 2 RB's, and a defensive player by year's end. Just a funny observation in my opinion.

Everything I've said is constructive. I've seen all the online offerings of hype for the kid, and I saw him play in the game last weekend. Earlier in this thread I even said, bet Meyer wishes he had him in Gainesville running you know what. He's good..... but this Heisman hype shit after you played Down Yonder State? Come on now.

The kid needs to be focused on Mississippi State tommorow night...... that's been a tough game for Auburn

I don't think Newton's focus is in question at all. Kid seems damn humble in the interviews I heard/saw since Saturday.

I agree the video/hype machine is a little premature; but the only thing Newton has had to do with it is smacking ArkSt around a little last Saturday and making some nice highlights.

I'm ready for tomorrow; hope the team is.

That is just crazy talk. Ingram was a soft candidate but that is just pure malarky that one game against a lower middle of the road opponent is equal to 12 games worth of work. Save that statement though, you might can reword it and use it later this year. LOL

auburn won 8 of the last 9 games. 4 straight at miss st. besides that retarded 3-2 game it has been no struggle.

bama is the one that has struggled losing 2 games to miss st since 2006. get your facts straight. also, one of those loses came one week after an article was print in t-town's newspaper stating miss st shouldn't even be allowed in the sec because they suck......7 days later bama lost to miss st. lol

as far as campbell goes, the dude ran for 171 yds and 2 rush tds. almost 200 pass yards 3 pass tds. he broke the school qb rushing yds record and he didn't even play the whole game. so yes he deserves to be in the talk.

if bama's qb did that in his first game of the year first start....wouldn't he be in the talk? yes.
